SUN SIGNS:
Cancer – “Just Like Heaven”
For this song, the visuals are influenced as much by the lyrics as they are by the sound. “Strange as angels” stands out as a central line to me, and Cancer, being a water sign, felt natural with the next lines talking about “dancing in the deepest oceans, twisting in the water”. From a psychological perspective, the lyrics capture both the deep sensitivity + protective nature described of Cancer Sun along with the sense of humor they’re known for: “Show me how you do that trick…the one that makes me laugh, she said”. The sound of rolling guitar rises high up to the skies to pastel ceilings that seem to echo in the mind. The marble of the angels shows a moment stopped in time- the narrator alone above a raging sea and reflective.
